To me, it is alway...From an email, early today...<br /><br /> To me, it is always distressing, for a lot of fundamental reasons, the largest of which is always the “loss” of Yankee baseball for so long. There is nothing that makes me feel the way they do. There are other huge, wonderful things in my life…..but there is a Laura feeling, there is a Brigid feeling, there is a Nancy feeling, there is a Yankee feeling. And it is sadly, irreparably gone for a long time, and that is a void.<br /><br /> Windows close. Options end. Posada is likely done, and that is hard for me, for Megan. Imagine being 18 and having to look at a personal baseball “past.” <br /><br /> They are a better baseball team, all things considered, than the Tigers. And to not be able to take that opportunity is shameful and difficult.<br /><br /> Execution. Last night, the Tigers did more of it than we did.<br /><br />Sucks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
